Are you looking for ways to bring your hotel, apartment or B&B to the attention of travellers? Then you have found a super powerful platform: travel blog Reisjevrij.nl! We are happy to explain how we can work together.

First, a quick note about Reisjevrij.nl. We started in 2016 and have since grown into one of the bigger travel blogs in the Netherlands. Monthly the site attracts over 50,000 unique visitors and these numbers were even much higher before the corona pandemic!

The power of our website & influencers

On Reisjevrij.nl we share real travel experiences and honest stories. We provide good travel tips, often from a practical perspective. This benefits the reader, because we don’t want to tell them how great a destination is… but rather offer them all the tools they need to discover and experience it for themselves. Of course, for every trip a hotel or B&B comes along, where a nice accommodation is the starting point for a great vacation or trip.

Actually, we do not want to call ourselves influencers. We are travel bloggers who give honest tips and our choices are often followed by our readers. Oh well, actually maybe we are influencers …

Unlimited exposure

The big advantage of a mention on our website compared to an influencer campaign on social media, is the duration of the exposure. On our website, your accommodation is listed for an unlimited period and you get a prominent place in an article. Of course we will bring it to your attention through our social media channels, but by using these channels the duration of the exposure is much shorter. In addition, the chances are many times bigger that a reader will book a hotel room with you, when he or she visits our website, than when he or she sees you passing by on social media.

By far the most collaborations we have are with hotels. There are several possibilities to bring your hotel or accommodation to the attention here. For example:

Appear in our itineraries

We like to go on roadtrips and tours. These itineraries will be written out from day to day, with mentioning where we stayed in each different place. This is perfect for getting attention from travelers who are still planning their trip!

Appear in a blog article

For each city or place we like to write about what to see and do. The highlights and places of interest will be discussed, but also your hotel or apartment where we stayed!

Your accommodation on this spot? That’s possible! We’d love to come and test-sleep in it. Your hotel can be promoted in an eye-catching hotel block, like this one, or simply included as text in the tips.

Appear on a region page

Most countries are divided into regions. For example, in South Africa the different places we’ve visited appear. In St Lucia, we stayed at Umlilo lodge and are happy to let everyone know.

IIf this place on such those pages about a country of region is ‘occupied’, then your hotel will remain there for at least one year. In practice this is often longer because we usually do not visit a place more than once a year.

Appearance on social media

We use Instagram and Facebook mainly to spread our articles, but also to share great tips. On Instagram we have about +3000 followers and on Facebook +4000. On Instagram we like to get going with fun stories in our own house style. We also post new photos on our feed daily.

For stories (and reels) on Instagram, we created our own template in the same recognizable style as our website. Above you see a few examples, but our set consists of at least 10 different templates and are enthusiastically received by our followers.

Hotel review (we don’t do this)

Most travel bloggers offer a so-called ‘hotel review’. We do not do this, unless you have a very special accommodation. In our eyes, a hotel review is not that interesting. We prefer to focus on the surroundings, what there is to do and above all, why you should visit a place. We then advertise your hotel in such a travel blog, so that the reader immediately knows where he or she must stay when visiting the destination.

Advertise for free on this travelblog?

Yes, you can! Perhaps ‘free’ is not quite the right word, but in exchange for a (number of) night(s), we will write about your accommodation. We don’t ask for a fee, just that you take care of the ‘costs’ of the hotel room and any activities.
